Super kids’ comic signing
Jonathan Hughes of S.U.P.A.6 will sign at Speeding Bullet Comics from 12-3 p.m. on Dec. 16! The comic features the “Super Ultra Power Agents 6” as they protect OK City.
“It’s a kids comic,” Hughes said. “Sort of Dav Pilkey meets the Avengers.”
Noted Oklahoma comic artist Jerry Bennett (“Glamorella’s Daughter”) provides the cover for issue #2.
Hughes has previously been featured at the Norman, Oklahoma convention OAFCon.
Speeding Bullet Comics is located at 614 N. Porter Ave. in Norman, Oklahoma.
Fantasy Kickstarter launches
Oklahoma City-based comic-book creator Liam Whinery has launched the crowdfunding campaign for his comic book “Vrom Saga: Beyond the Hammer Heart.”
Whinery writes at Kickstarter:
The story focuses on a soldier named Vrom and his comrades, a tight-knit band of fellow veterans and nomadic warriors revered as heroes in the lands they have helped to defend.
Vrom Saga is Written by Liam Whinery, illustrated by Robespierre, and colored by Otaguro Rodrigo. You can find out more and back the project at Kickstarter.
