Paranormal Fest features Oklahoma film, more
Midweek Update: See ‘Shifter’ at the Metro Library in OKC
What if traveling through time was a horrific experience?
Find out in “Shifter,” from writer/producer Zachary Burns and writer/director Jacob Leighton Burns. The film is showing this weekend at the Downtown Library in Oklahoma City as part of the Metro Library’s Paranormal Fest.
The sixth annual Paranormal Fest at the Downtown Library is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28 and features guest experts, vendor booths, children's programming, and a movie marathon. Search for Bigfoot, hunt for ghosts or escape from a mummy in a variety of events planed.
The movie block is set for the 4th floor, where Planet Thunder short films will begin at 11 a.m., followed by “Shifter” at 2 p.m.
"Shifter" is Jacob Leighton Burns’s second feature film as a writer/director after "Electric Nostalgia," which won Best Oklahoma Film at the 2016 deadCenter Film Festival. He has since written the film “Hell Hath No Fury.”
“Shifter” stars Nicole Fancher, Ashley Mandanas, Paul T. Taylor, and Jamie Brewster.
