I owned that first black suit Spidey issue. A “friend” of mine convinced me to trade it to him for 3 or 4 other comics. I don’t remember any of those anymore. Remember the Spidey one though!
I am really surprised at your picks Matt. Obviously I'm biased towards Marvel, but man, it would have been nice to be able to have picked all those books at decent prices.
You were surprised that they were as Marvel-heavy as they were? I guess I was looking for a mix of investment "potential" and interesting reads as far as general criteria. Probably would be different on a different day! But we may try some different ads from different eras as well.
You should try to track down an old Wizard magazine and draft from their guides. Their prices were crazy. I get it though the older the better prices. I didn't know you were going for investments, that makes sense though.
