Wrestler Danhausen headed for OKC convention in February
Midweek update: Oklahoma City’s Pop Culture Convention scheduled for Remington Park
The wrestler known as Danhausen has been added to the guest list for Oklahoma City’s Pop Culture Convention on Feb. 24-25, 2024.
Danhausen currently performs with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and has previously appeared on Ring of Honor (ROH) and Full Impact Pro (FIP).
The “very nice, very evil” Danhausen wrestles in horror-themed facepaint and often carries a jar of human teeth to the ring. With a voice based on a mix between Conan O’Brien and the Joker, the comedy-horror character provides a change of pace and has become a fan-favorite.
He also has appeared on comic-book variant covers, including “Commanders in Crisis,” Heavy Metal, and Batman.
Other guests set for the convention include Ax and Smash of “Demolition,” Arn Anderson, and actors David Yost, Jenna Frank, and Romy Sharf.
The event is set for 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, at 1 Remington Pl, Oklahoma City, OK 73111
